Faculty Position, Assistant Professor Division of Hematology: The University of Miami Health System/Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, is one of the leading medical centers in the country, and has openings for new faculty members in Classical Hematology. This faculty position will have clinical and research responsibilities within the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology, and the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. This individual will serve as an attending physician in the Division of Hematology, with focus on the care and treatment of patients within the Classical Hematology Service. We manage a wide range of patients, including thrombosis/hemostasis, hemophilia, anemia and thrombocytopenia. We also have a robust research program, in the interface of cancer and hematology, and have active studies in chemotherapy induced thrombocytopenia and cancer associated thrombosis. The faculty member will have the opportunity to work with Dr. Soff as well as an excellent team of other hematologists within the Division of Hematology. The goal for the new member will be to develop his/her own clinical and research program within the established team. This individual should be motivated to support the research mission of the Department of Medicine and the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center to advance patient care for the patients of South Florida and beyond.

The Division of Hematology and Oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center seeks board-certified or board-eligible MD or MD/PhD hematologist-oncologists for myeloma. The individuals selected will be academically oriented and appointed to the full-time faculty as either an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the School of Medicine at Vanderbilt University. The successful candidate(s) will have experience in caring for patients with myeloma with interest and/or experience conducting clinical trials. Junior faculty and new fellowship graduates will join the faculty and receive dedicated mentoring in clinical research. Classical Hematologist (03-309-1215) The University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM) and the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center (UMGCCC) in Baltimore invite applications for a full-time faculty position in Classical Hematology. This is an opportunity to join and help shape a growing academic classical hematology program, with particular opportunities in red blood cell and iron disorders, sickle cell disease, thrombosis/hemostasis, and other non-malignant hematologic conditions. We are seeking a hematologist who combines outstanding clinical care with a strong interest in translational and/or clinical research and who wants to build a distinctive area of clinical and scholarly expertise. The essential functions of the position include attending on the University of Maryland Medical Center Hematology consultation service; providing outpatient consultation and longitudinal care for patients with classical hematologic diseases; developing an area of clinical expertise within the classical hematology program; educating and mentoring Hematology/Medical Oncology fellows, residents, and medical students; and leading or participating in translational and/or clinical research. Candidates with interests in program building, clinical trials, outcomes research, implementation science, or innovative care-delivery models are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and fellowship training and experience in Hematology.
